A local nonprofit in Crown Heights gave away free dresses to students so that they can feel their best at their upcoming proms.

The event was all in part of Woman Challenge Yourself. Each dress had new tags and the event offered the young girls many choices for the dress of their dreams for free.

This was the second time the nonprofit hosted the prom dress giveaway. Its goal is to empower local women and help the community during its time of need.

Woman Challenge Yourself will be expanding its reach even more as it prepares to move into a permanent brick and mortar space after being an online only nonprofit for the last two years.
