There was very little fanfare as plans to bring a Wegmans grocery store to Norwalk took its first step in the approval process Tuesday.
The city's Conservation Commission held a virtual public hearing on the potential environmental impact of the plan.
The popular chain wants to build on the former MBI property on Richards Avenue, just off Route 1.
The public was invited to speak, but no one made a comment.
More people are expected to speak once the proposal reaches the city's Planning and Zoning Commission.
