NYC Dept. of Education: Monday is last day for kids 12+ to get fully vaccinated in time for school

At this time, children 12 and older are only eligible for the Pfizer shot, which takes five weeks to get both doses.

New York City's Department of Education says Aug. 9 is the last day for children ages 12 and over to be fully vaccinated in time for the start of the school year.
At this time, children 12 and older are only eligible for the Pfizer shot, which takes five weeks to get both doses.
The school year begins Sept. 13.
