The New York City Ferry is adding a new Brooklyn stop on its route.

The new stop at Brooklyn Navy Yard will allow passengers to get from Brooklyn to Manhattan in about 10 to 15 minutes.

The stop is the second to last stop along the Astoria route heading into Manhattan.

The Astoria route initially launched in 2017 and now includes stops in Astoria, Roosevelt Island, Long Island City, East 34th Street, Brooklyn Navy Yard and Wall Street Pier 11.

The route is about a 45-minute ride from start to finish.

Each boat is capable of carrying 149 passengers and is equipped with Wi-Fi on board.

It costs $2.75 for a single ride, but MetroCards are not accepted. Passengers are required to purchase tickets at one of the kiosks at the dock or on the NYC Ferry app.

While Brooklyn Navy Yard is the latest addition in the borough, it is not the last. A Coney Island route is set to launch in 2021.
