NYC Ferry announced over the weekend that a price hike will take effect on Sept. 9.

Single-trip tickets will see an increase from $4 to $4.50. The cost of a ten-trip bundle will rise from $27.50 to $29.00, making each ticket $2.90 to align with subway and bus fares.

Lower prices remain available through the NYC Ferry discount program.

The program includes $1.45 rides for seniors, people with disabilities and low-income travelers.

High school students citywide can also access reduced fares for weekday travel to and from school starting Sept. 1.
