The New York City Emergency Management Department has declared a Code Blue until Friday at 8 a.m.
During the Code Blue, no one will be denied shelter.
NYCEM encourages anyone who experiences homelessness to call 311 and reach out for help.
Walk-ins are also accepted.
News 12's Daniella Rodriguez spoke to Brooklyn residents about the eight-hour Code Blue.
