A Brooklyn family's request has been answered after News 12 reported that she had gone more than two weeks without a working refrigerator.
The New York City Housing Authority has replaced Elizabeth Rivera's fridge. Rivera and her children live in the Pink Houses in East New York.
Rivera said she complained several times to management after she came home on July 14 to find that her old fridge had stopped working, spoiling about $150 worth of food.
NYCHA blamed the delay on a miscommunication with Rivera.
