NYPD: 1 dead, 2 others injured in Myrtle Avenue shooting

All three victims were taken to Kings County Hospital where a 28-year-old who suffered a gunshot wound to the head was pronounced dead.

Police say a person is dead and two others were injured during a shooting on Myrtle Avenue early Saturday night.

They say they received a call of three people being shot at 987 Myrtle Ave. at around 5 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers noticed a 28-year-old with a gunshot wound to the head, a 32-year-old who was shot in the back and another 28-year-old was shot in the stomach.

All three victims were taken to Kings County Hospital where the 28-year-old who suffered the gunshot wound to the head was pronounced dead.

The other two victims were listed in stable condition as of Saturday night.

There were no immediate details about suspects, a motive or arrests made in connection to the shooting.
