A shooting at a Bed-Stuy corner store left one man dead and another hospitalized Wednesday morning, police say.
Neil Thompson, 38, was fatally struck in the torso in the attack, and a 64-year-old man was also wounded in the 7:30 a.m. attack, according to authorities.
The surviving victim is listed in stable condition in Kings County Hospital.
A day earlier, a police-involved shooting injured a suspect in an unrelated crime just two blocks away. In that incident, officers opened fire on a man who allegedly tried to run down a detective with his car.
The recent incidents are leaving neighbors uneasy.
Investigators did not immediately identify any suspects.
