Police say a shooting incident took place in the vicinity of 698 Ralph Ave. in Brownsville on Monday afternoon. 

The address where the shooting reportedly took place serves as an apartment building, according to neighbors. The sign on the front of the building also shows that it is a rehab center, and law enforcement is working to determine if the shooting took place inside or outside the location. 

Surveillance video shows a man that officers identify as the victim walking out of the address before bending over in pain. He walks across the street and into the food market, before an ambulance and police arrive moments later.  

Police say the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach and is being treated at Brookdale Hospital.
