A 12-year-old boy was hospitalized in critical but stable condition following a crash early Sunday morning in East Flatbush.

Police say they received a 911 call reporting that a pedestrian was struck on Church Avenue and Kings Highway at around 1 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found that a 28-year-old man driving a white BMW had hit the boy.

Police say the man remained and the scene and no arrests have been made.

The intersection where the crash took place has a history of car accidents, according to Vision Zero. Two accidents occurred in March and left multiple riders injured.
