A 14-year-old was killed after attempting to walk between subway cars Friday night.
Officials say the incident occurred around 8 p.m. on a northbound 5 train at the 180th Street subway station in the Van Nest section of the Bronx.
The teen attempted to walk between cars when he slipped and fell under the train, according to authorities. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
