The NYPD says an 18-year-old was shot in the head by E. 81st Street and Flatlands Avenue on Wednesday night.

The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital and remains in critical condition.
Police say they have not made any arrests, but one person between the ages of 15 and 20 is in custody.
