NYPD: 2 sergeants shot in the line of duty

According to police, one shot was fired by the suspect and it hit both of the officers - one in the groin and the other in the left leg.

The NYPD posted video on social media of one of two sergeants leaving the hospital after they were both shot in the line of duty in Manhattan.
Police say the sergeants were responding to calls of an armed robbery when they came across the suspect. Officers stopped him and the suspect began to pull out a loaded gun and a struggle started.
According to police, one shot was fired by the suspect and it hit both of the officers - one in the groin and the other in the left leg. Both are expected to be OK.
Police identified the suspect as 22-year-old Joshua Dorsett and took him into custody. Authorities say Dorsett is a known gang member and he was on probation at the time of the shooting.
