Police have identified the 28-year-old victim of a weekend deadly stabbing outside of a gas station in Midwood.
Authorities say Sibley Oshae was found with stab wounds on Coney Island Avenue Saturday night. A Mobil gas station attendant says a group of men, including Oshae, was dancing and joking around as they pumped their gas.
Witnesses who were there say an opposing group did not like it and a confrontation took place. They say the suspect said it was against their religion to see such a sight and that the group shouted racial slurs.
"He had a problem they were dancing," says Sayeda Haider, witness. "He wanted them to stop dancing. He started arguing with them, then after a few fights and arguing, he pulled out a knife and stabbed him."
Police say Oshae was stabbed in the stomach and rushed to the hospital where he died on Sunday. Oshae was a resident of Brownsville.
No arrests have been made and the suspect is still on the loose. Gas station employees told News 12 the suspect is a teenager who has caused problems at the gas station before the fatal stabbing.
