yesterdayThree suspects were arrested for assaulting two police officers Saturday in Bushwick, according to authorities.
Police say several officers were attempting to control a disorderly crowd on Weirfield Street and Central Avenue at around 10 p.m.
The incident turned violent, and two officers were later hospitalized for minor injuries.
Authorities say an investigation is ongoing and charges against the suspects are pending.
