A 31-year-old man was fatally shot overnight in Clinton Hill, police say.
It happened at 857 Atlantic Ave. between Waverly and Underhill avenues.
Police responded to a call around 3:30 a.m., finding the victim with a gunshot wound to his chest. EMS rushed the victim to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where he later died.
Police told News 12 that no arrests have been made. Details surrounding how the shooting unfolded were not immediately available.
Residents like Youllanda Smith were still processing the news this morning.
"I'm going down to work right now, and to see this is very crazy, because usually there's no activity around here," she said.
