NYPD: Brooklyn man identified as Manhattan shooting victim

Police found 42-year-old Abede Fernandez with gunshot wounds to the torso and the back.

A man from Brooklyn has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting in Manhattan.

Police say they responded to a 911 call just before 5 p.m. on Monday for a man shot in front of 235 Lenox Ave. They found 42-year-old Abede Fernandez with gunshot wounds to the torso and the back. He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem and pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.
