Two NYPD detectives are being credited with talking down a Brooklyn woman threatening to jump off the Kosciuszko Bridge.
Detectives Meghan Kinsella and Steven Stefanakos responded to the scene at around 11:30 a.m. Monday to find a 45-year-old woman standing on top of a pipe outside the bridge.
The officers spent time talking with the woman and after two hours, convinced her to let them pull her to safety.
She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment.
