NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly was in Brooklyn over the weekend to address crime in the borough and city.
Kelly visited Rehoboth Catherdral in Bed-Stuy. The church is part of the NYPD Clergy Coalition, which is a group of ministers that work with police to get guns off the streets.
Kelly told members that overall murders have dropped across the city since 1990, but that there are too many guns in Brooklyn bought out of state. He also said the controversial stop and frisk program has yielded some positive results.
