Police have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection to the fatal shooting of 13-year-old Troy Gil that took place on Feb. 29.

Gil, 13, was walking home from the Barclays Center when he was shot multiple times in the body. He was pronounced dead later that night.

Sheik Koureichi, 20, has been arrested and faces multiple charges, including murder. Investigators say Gil was just blocks away from his home when he was shot right outside of a school and children's museum.

Police tell News 12 that this was the third deadly shooting to have taken place in the neighborhood during that week.
