Police have arrested and charged a 46-year-old man with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the slashing death of two people inside a Cypress Hills home.
Police say two people were found inside 186 Warwick St. on Sunday afternoon.
Police identified the victims as 91-year-old Roosevelt Simmons and 66-year-old Jaqueline Deylons. They say both were found on their floor with slash wounds to their necks.
The arrest of Lewis Kerry was announced Monday afternoon. Further details surrounding a motive were not immediately clear.
