Police say a man is wanted for attacking another person on July 4 with a machete in the Bronx.

Authorities tell News 12 a 22-year-old man was on Valentine Avenue when the suspect approached him and struck him in the head and hand with the machete. The suspect then fled.

The victim was taken to SBH Health System and is in stable condition.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact police.
