Police say the man went up to the 18-year-old aboard the N train at the Fourth Avenue and 36th Street train station. The man hit the victim on the forehead with a glass liquor bottle during a verbal argument.
The man who fled at the 36th Street station is described as being in his 20s, with a medium complexion, and around 5 feet 7 inches tall.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
