NYPD: MTA employee struck by northbound F train

An MTA employee was struck by a northbound F train and is currently in critical condition, according to the NYPD.

Police say that the incident took place just after midnight on Thursday. The MTA worker, a 64-year-old man, suffered an apparent head injury.
They say that the worker appeared to step backward onto the northbound track south of the Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets subway station.
