Hate crimes are on the rise in New York City.
The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force says hate crimes are up 76% so far this year.
From Jan. 1 to April 10, there were 194 cases reported - compared to 110 during the same time last year.
While crimes against Asians have come down 32%, those against Black people and Jewish people have both risen.
This data was released as the city continues to experience a wave in violent crime and as Mayor Eric Adams rolled out his plan to combat violence and crime in the city.
