NYPD: 2 men charged for murder, sparking shootout with police in Concourse Village

The NYPD says 22-year-old Kejaun Dehaney, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and 32-year-old Hassan Maxwell, of the Bronx are facing murder charges for a shooting of another man in Concourse Village Saturday night.

The NYPD says 22-year-old Kejaun Dehaney, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and 32-year-old Hassan Maxwell, of the Bronx are facing murder charges for a shooting of another man in Concourse Village Saturday night.
The incident happened near the area of East 165th Street and College Avenue after 6 p.m.
Police say the two men allegedly fatally shot another man who was running away from them and towards police, which sparked a shootout with officers.
Authorities say an innocent bystander was caught in the crossfire and injured. They say police are investigating whose bullets hit the bystander.
Police say the two men who are facing charges fled the scene, but were apprehended by nearby officers. They say one of the men was injured by a gunshot and taken to the hospital.
The NYPD says no officers were injured.
