The NYPD is looking for a suspect in two unprovoked attacks in Brooklyn and Manhattan that took place two weeks apart.
Police are searching for a man they say stabbed a grocery store employee with a screwdriver July 27. The 33-year-old worker said the man walked up behind him while he was restocking fruit and stabbed him on the right shoulder with the screwdriver.
Police released a photo of a suspect wanted for hitting a 27-year-old woman on the head with an unknown object on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. News 12 showed a photo of the Manhattan assault suspect, and the Brooklyn grocery store worker immediately recognized the man, calling him his attacker.
Police are still investigating both incidents.
