The son of a man and woman found fatally stabbed Saturday in Borough Park is now in police custody.

Police say they discovered 75-year-olds Jacob and Rachel Sperber stabbed multiple times in their torsos at a home on 45th Street around 5:30 p.m. Both were pronounced dead.

Their 46-year-old son, who police have yet to name, was arrested. However, authorities say no charges have been announced yet.

Neighbors tell News 12 that the couple did not deserve what happened to them.

"I know the parents were very special to take in such a son, and this is how they repaid them. It's ridiculous, and no one is on his side. Nobody stands for him,” said a neighbor.
