NYPD: Suspect of stolen car drives over officer's foot in East New York

An NYPD officer has been injured while stopping a reportedly stolen car early Wednesday morning in East New York, according to police.

An NYPD officer has been injured while stopping a reportedly stolen car early Wednesday morning in East New York, according to police.
Police say the incident took place at around 3:30 a.m. when the driver of the car drove off and ran over an officer's foot. Other officers at the scene responded by shooting one bullet at the vehicle but missed.
The car was later found on 95th Avenue and 85th Street. The suspect was arrested shortly after.
No charges have been filed yet.
