Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who shot a 17-year-old boy Saturday night at Starlight Park soccer field in Soundview.
Police say the shooting occurred right before 9:30 p.m. The victim was hit one time in the back.
He was hospitalized and remains in stable condition.
Authorities say the suspect was wearing a blue and white face mask and a red bag.
The suspect was last seen riding off with a large group of bicyclists on Sheridan Boulevard.
