A suspect is wanted for robbing and stabbing a man early Wednesday morning in Kensington.
Authorities say the incident occurred on Avenue C and East Fifth Street around 12:45 a.m.
The 36-year-old victim was sitting on a bench when a man approached him and asked for money.
The man then displayed a knife and a gun, according to police.
A struggle ensued and the victim was stabbed in the left side of his head before the suspect fled with his wallet.
Police say the man was hospitalized and is expected to recover.
