A suspect is wanted for stealing a chain from a man on East 188th Street and Grand Concourse in Fordham Heights.

Police say the 35-year-old victim was walking at around 5 p.m. Tuesday when a man pulled up to him on a moped and stole the chain from around his neck. The chain was worth $9,000.

The suspect threatened to shoot the man if he followed him, according to police.

Authorities say the victim suffered minor injuries. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact police.
