NYPD: Suspects wanted in fatal shooting of 19-year-old man in Melrose

Police say multiple suspects are wanted in connection to a fatal shooting Saturday in the Melrose section of the Bronx.

Police say multiple suspects are wanted in connection to a fatal shooting Saturday in the Melrose section of the Bronx.
The NYPD says 19-year-old Melvin Urena was shot and killed near East 156th Street and Melrose Avenue around 1:30 p.m.
Surveillance video shows a man getting out of a gray Honda Pilot and shooting at someone off screen. Police say the victim was Urena, who was riding his scooter at the time.
The suspects got back into the vehicle and were last seen traveling eastbound on East 156th Street.
Urena had gunshot wounds to his head and right leg. He was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he died.
Police are asking anyone with information that could lead to an arrest in this investigation to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers.
