The NYPD is expected to launch a crackdown on drivers who use cell phones while behind the wheel.
Drivers caught on their cell phones could face a $130 fine. During a similar crackdown in August police say they issued 7,432 summonses.
The crackdown is scheduled to begin at midnight.
