NYPD: Towers Deli in Bay Ridge robbed at gunpoint; at least 4 sought

Police say at least four people entered the shop at 235 65th Street. They say at least one person flashed a gun before striking the cashier.

At least four people are sought by the NYPD for the gunpoint robbery Friday night of the Towers Deli in Bay Ridge.

Police say at least four people entered the shop at 235 65th Street. They say at least one person flashed a gun before striking the cashier.

The assailants fled with an unknown amount of cash.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS

This is the latest incident in a series of bodega robberies throughout New York City.

The United Bodega Union recently demanded more action from officials.
