NYPD: Video shows man robbed in Morrisania, nearly $9K in goods taken

Detectives say it happened around 8 a.m. on March 21 on East 165th Street and Boston Road right next to a child care center.

Police have released new video of a robbery in Morrisania that adds up to almost $9,000 in stolen goods.
Detectives say it happened around 8 a.m. on March 21 on East 165th Street and Boston Road right next to a child care center.
In the video, two men are seen approaching the 18-year-old victim, with one of the men acting in a way that may suggest he had a firearm while demanding that the victim gives up his belongings.
The victim, who's carrying a backpack, takes off his shoes, while the second perpetrator proceeds to remove jewelry off his body.
Police say the victim had multiple chains, Air Jordan sneakers and a cellphone, with all those items adding up to a total of $8,970.
Police say no one was injured in this incident. Police are asking the public in help to identifying the three men.
