An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested for DWI and refusing to take a breath test early Friday in the Bronx.
News 12 was told Sheikh Aktaruzzaman was found asleep behind the wheel of a car stopped in the middle of the road.
Officers say he smelled like alcohol and was unsteady on his feet.
He refused a Breathalyzer and additional testing when he was taken to the precinct.
