Police: 4-year-old boy fatally struck by vehicle, 6-year-old hospitalized in Brooklyn

The incident happened at 2025 67th St. between a public school and yeshiva around 9:15 a.m.

A 4-year-old boy is dead and a 6-year-old boy is seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Brooklyn early Monday, officials say.
The incident happened at 2025 67th St. between a public school and yeshiva around 9:15 a.m.
The 4-year-old boy, identified as Yoshi Balaban, was pronounced dead at the scene. Funeral services for Balaban were held on Monday in Staten Island.
The other child was rushed to the hospital, where News 12 is told he is in serious but stable condition.
Police say the driver returned to the scene within the hour after fleeing. 
Officials say there is no criminality suspected at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
