One person was injured after being struck by a car in Mill Basin, according to officials.

It happened at the intersection of Avenue U and East 56th Street around 2 p.m.

The victim was rushed to Mount Sinai Brooklyn, but News 12 has no word yet on his or her condition.

Police are investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made so far.
