A once prominent Brooklyn Democratic leader was back in court Monday for the start of his fourth corruption trial.
Clarence Norman Jr., the former chairman of the Kings County Democratic Committee, faces charges of coercion and extortion stemming from a 2002 primary race. The former assemblyman is accused of ordering two Brooklyn judicial hopefuls to use party campaign services or risk losing his party's endorsement.
Norman was found guilty in his first two corruption trials, but found not guilty of grand larceny during his third trial.
