If you or your kids love to read, New York officials are partnering with over 1,000 libraries to launch its summer reading program.

Throughout the summer, local libraries will host various activities and events to bring children, families and communities together for reading programs.

This year's theme is "Adventure Begins at Your Library."

It promotes exploration, outdoor activities and reading adventures for students and their families.
