Ticket sales for the 2021 Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach are temporarily suspended after huge demand caused the state's website to crash.
The tickets went on sale Monday at 9 a.m., but the overwhelming demand shut things down fast, state officials say.
Capacity for the show is capped at 50% due to coronavirus restrictions, but demand is high.
The state's Parks Department says it knows the Air Show is important and is committed to ensuring everyone has a fair chance and enough time to get a ticket.
Event parking passes will be required for all three shows beginning with Friday's practice show on May 28 and culminating with the final show on May 30.
In addition, 1,800 passes will be distributed to Long Island's three health care networks for front-line workers.
A new date for ticket sales will be announced in the near future. Tickets are $10 per car.
All tickets bought before the site crashed will be honored for the show.
