A painters union is volunteering its services at the Mount Ararat Senior Center in Brownsville.
Each year as part of the International Day of Action, District Council 9 International Union of Painters and Allied Trades picks churches, community centers and other locations to give back.
Today's paint work is saving the senior center more than $5,000.
The unions say sometimes they get a bad reputation and this is a great way to show they care for their communities.
