The NYPD is trying to find a pair of thieves that have been connected to a string of armed cellphone store robberies.
As News 12 previously reported, the suspects first hit a MetroPCS on Bedford Avenue back on March 29. Investigators say they forced an employee into the bathroom, and got away with $10,000 and several phones.
According to police, the same duo then struck a Boost Mobile on Church Avenue on May 12 and most recently, held up a T-Mobile on East 98th Street last Tuesday. In those cases, the clerks were also forced to the back while the men got away with money and an assortment of phones.
The suspects were caught on surveillance video at each store. Anyone with information that could help should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
