Rev. Shelley McDade, of St. John's Episcopal Church, says this is a holy week as it signals the final days of Lent when many Christians fast and reflect.
Palm leaves, which represent the palms that people put in front of Jesus when he returned to Jerusalem, are blessed at the church.
The church also re-enacts scenes from the Bible in a passion play.
