Paul Pelosi makes first public appearance since attack at couple's California home

The husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made his first public appearance since being attacked inside the couple's California home.
Paul Pelosi attended the 45th Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday night with his wife.
The pair were seated next to Vice President Kamala Harris and second gentleman Douglas Emhoff.
Pelosi had to undergo surgery to repair a skull fracture and other injuries after the incident.
David DePape, 42, was arrested on charges of attempted murder, elder abuse and burglary, police said after allegedly attacking Pelosi with a hammer while shouting, "where is Nancy?"
