Kyro is one of the newest residents of Heart & Soul Dog rescue in Lyndhurst. The 2-year-old pup was found roaming the streets as a stray, according to volunteers.

When he arrived at the recue, workers say he was about 20 pounds underweight, which made him appear a bit older than he actually is.

Volunteers describe Kyro as sweet, calm and lovable. He's crate-trained and housebroken and does well with both kids and cats.
