Pedestrian Cristina Alonso struck, killed in Dyker Heights
A woman is dead after being hit by a car in Dyker Heights. According to police, 38-year-old Cristina Alonso was not using the crosswalk as she walked from 14th Avenue onto 86th Street Monday night.

A woman is dead after being hit by a car in Dyker Heights.
According to police, 38-year-old Cristina Alonso was not using the crosswalk as she walked from 14th Avenue onto 86th Street Monday night.
She was then struck by a Ford Explorer driven by a 33-year-old man.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
