Performances, celebrations mark 50 years since Woodstock
(AP) Tie-dyed pilgrims and white-haired Woodstock festival veterans converged at the generation-defining site in Bethel, New York, this weekend to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Performers included Ringo Starr, Arlo Guthrie, Blood Sweat & Tears and more. The original Woodstock, which took place August 15-18 in 1969 in Bethel, featured performances by Jimi Hendrix, Grateful Dead and more. Images via AP.
